Extended Abstract Preparation
The extended abstract, footnotes, references and any graphics should
fit on one side of A4 or 8 ½ x 11 inch paper with 2 cm margins all
round. Use 12 point or a larger font, preferably Times New Roman, single
line spacing and length up to one full page. List the names and
affiliations of all authors. On a separate page, submissions must
include the following information about the contact person for the paper:
name, full address, telephone and fax number, and e-mail address. Please
indicate whether you prefer an oral or a poster presentation.

Extended Abstract Submission Deadline: 15 January, 2002
Extended abstracts can be submitted electronically as attachment files
to: icppp@mie.utoronto.ca. Please
use the word ABSTRACT in the subject line of your message. We will accept
the following file formats: MS Word, Postscript and PDF. If you prefer
to submit one or more abstracts by mail, please send four copies to:

Publication of Conference Proceedings
We are happy to announce that a deal has been reached with the American
Institute of Physics (AIP) to publish the Proceedings in the Review
of Scientific Instruments (RSI). All manuscripts will be collected
on the first day of the Conference (strict deadline) and will be published
in a supplementary issue of the journal as regular research papers,
subject to peer-review acceptance as per the usual rules of research paper
publication in RSI. There will be five journal pages allowed for plenary
and invited papers and three pages allowed for contributed papers.
